Put a deposit down in August of last year (soon as I heard about this bike), took delivery of my Classic the first week of June.

A week :)

My local dealer has a pretty good idea of what will sell across the whole Ducati range and pre-orders stock knowing full well he can supply people at short notice.

He gets a lot of business that way.

It's no coincidence that they are Ducati's U.K. dealer of the year. :)

Ordered 15 May. Told "Early June" for delivery.
Still waiting 2 months later.
Sales person is useless. (IMHO)

To be fair the dealers were about right , in fact I've gained a couple of weeks. It's Ducati who make the rules as to what they build and when. Accepting the sales increase which might have caught them out they could easily increase the out put of the classic not so different from icon as are the enduro and full throttle.
but at least it's only a week away now! :biggrin-new:
