Having started many many years ago on dirt only I would suggest getting yourself a real beater and learn the ins and outs of riding off road. Be sure to wear good gear as well since you will fall off when off road. Not sure personally I would subject my Scrambler to that hard of off road riding though. If thats what you want to do an adventure style bike may be more suitable.Ok, so I have been riding for a decade now and have never had the balls to try any of this type of stuff. Having the scrambler now, I am thinking it would be fun and smart to learn how to ride like this. How would one start? dirt bike? I have never even tried to do a wheelie... just no confidence.. but I WANT to be able to handle this bike like that!!!
30 years ago I would have loved to try that stuff. Now I do not heal as quicklyIt would be really cool to be able to ride like that but at my age I've got nothing to prove. The only thing I'd achieve would be to somersault over backwards

Grab a cheap trials bike, brilliant to learn all sorts of bike handling skills and you don't have to go so fast you hurt yourself ( not badly anyway). And great funOk, so I have been riding for a decade now and have never had the balls to try any of this type of stuff.
