My Icon arrived two weeks ago. Love it. Major creator of silly grins.

Got my break-in miles in and soon will be returning to my dealer for the first service.
Waiting for back-ordered LED turn signals (from Hypermotard) and CRG Arrow billet bar-end mirrors, hoping they arrive before my first service date.

Has anyone else had the letters on their seat start to peel off?
My 'C', 'A' and 'T' are curling up at the corners already.
Soon my bike will say ... 'DU___I'.

Perhaps I should just fab a white '?' and place it after the 'I'.

This in no way lessens my opinion of this bike, its a peach, but I do think decals should stay on a brand new bike seat for a little longer than mine have.

After about 800 kms I have begun to feel that either the seat is breaking in or my bum is becoming more seasoned, but either way, the seat is beginning to feeling better and is not giving me 'numb-bum' as much.

This, my 4th Ducati, is the best one yet.

Enjoy your Scramblers everyone !

Thanks for the advice Dave.

I was in touch with my dealer this morning and the claim has been processed by him on my behalf already. I sent him photos of the letters yesterday and he put in the claim right away.
I will be receiving a new stock seat and I can get a UE seat for approx. $200 US.
I have to come to terms with its brown-ness before I go ahead with the upgrade.

I seem to like to collect stock seats ...

is that normal? or should I get tested?

here is a couple photos of the offending letters ...

thanks again Dave for advice .... Dave.

99 outta 100 are fine ... somebody has to get that 100th one.

does not lessen the silly grin on my face every time I climb off this bike.

Thanks for the input Albie.
An important thing to remember that many of us forget (me included) is that the forums are very similar to being an emergency room at your local hospital. All the bad stuff shows up. But then you have to remember that you wouldn't go into your local emergency room and compare it to the overall population's health. (Hope that makes sense)

Agreed. Forums are like microscopes. They examine even the smallest of things to the 'N'th degree.

I for one am happy with my Scrambler. Very happy in fact.

Stupid, silly happy.

We as members of this crowd must remember to focus on the many positives, not just the few negatives, of our rides.

Most importantly, Ducati has reacted quickly to resolve this, a small problem.

Let's all ride today, then come back here and tell the gang something positive about your ride that you truly enjoyed today.
