Made a little sissy bar for the seat. Super simple and easy to take off. My wife asked for it as she feels the seat is very slippery and feels like she is going to slide off the back. It is just something to press into for extra reassurance. Made of 3/8" aluminum rod. I had considered the grab rail, but she doesn't hold on to those. Her arms are always around me :). We tried it out and she is very happy with it. It is aluminum, so any real force would cause it to bend easily. I was concerned about lower back injuries in a rear end collision. I also painted it with "Rustoleum Carbon Mist". The color is very close to the "Charcoal" Ducati used on the frame.

Wow, your bike looks more incredible every time i look at it. Once mine gets in I might have to take a ride down your way just to take a look in person!

Thanks everyone! The white is actually just plasti-dip. I had never tried anything like this before, but I am pretty happy with the results. All in, cost me under $50 (and a few hours) to do it. I used white plasti-dip and glossifier. I was planning to get it wrapped, but the wrap guy kept flaking so I decided to do this myself. I figure if I like it long-term, I'll get it painted that color. The exhaust is just the stock one, but I did the baked on ceramic paint. My wife was working this weekend, so I was able to get the fumes out of the house from the baking before she returned :boxing-22:. I might end up doing the pipes as well. I wrote "grip ons", but meant "grab ons", hah. Grab On Grips Foam Tubing Motorcycle Grips Bicycle Handlebar Grips Basically a spongy rubber sleeve for the grips.
Can you elaborate some more on the plasti-dip? How much did you use? What Kind? etc. Same with the ceramic paint. This looks right up my ally.

Bike looks absolutely awesome.

Thanks! For the Plasti-Dip, I used the white in the spray can. Picked it up from Home Depot. I think it runs about $7 a can. I went through 3 cans of white and 2 cans of Glossifier. I removed the front and rear fender completely. I then unbolted the tank and masked the rest of the bike with a big plastic drop. I also removed the silver tank panels because I had purchased the black ones from Ducati. Each part has 4-5 layers of the white, then another 3 layers of the "Glossifier". I am pretty happy with the result. Washes clean easy enough and not permanent. I'm already planning my next "look", but I'll give it a few thousand miles before I change it. I also recently Plasti-dipped my foot pegs and have been pleasantly surprised by the result. For those, I actually used the "dip" formula where you dip the part into the can of product. Following the directions on the can, I did 4 coats and let dry for 24 hours. I have about 400-500 miles on them and they haven't started to peel or anything. Cut down on the "silver" on the bike and they are much more grippy.
For the ceramic paint, I used VHT FlameProof Coating in black. I did the interval bake on method they recommend, using my home oven. Pretty simple to remove the parts I painted, and did those while the white plasti-dip dried. So far, so good. No chipping or flaking yet. One note, I did clean everything really well before plasti- dipping or painting.

Good luck!

Did you initially plan on making the white temporary? Any pics of the pegs?

I did plan to make it temporary from the beginning. I was initially planning to get it vinyl wrapped in white, but the guy I had hired to do it kept stalling, so I decided to dip it myself. I'm happy with the result. And, it was way cheaper.
Here is a pic of the peg.

How in the heck did I miss this thread??!! That White is killer Scott, and Plasti-Dip?? Genius!! Like the sissy bar too, sometimes just a little is plenty enough. Way to go.

Here are a few recent pics of my white Scrambler. Since my last pics I've added the comfort seat, belly pan (painted black), scrambler handlebar bag, painted the headlight surround black. Also removed the rear fender. I like the unique license plate location, but didn't like all of the plastic and reflectors. Now the plate looks like it's floating at night. :). Oh yeah, got rid of the frame stickers too ;-)

I am really digging this bike in white! That was my plan, to do a white bike, but I'm kind of digging the Classic style. Plastidip might give me the chance to experiment a bit which I'd really like; I'm curious what the aluminum fenders look like colored. ;)

Love your look, white and black always makes things pop!

Just noticed I haven't updated this thread in a long time, but I have changed a few things. Added a front "Fenda Extenda" and a "Classic" rear fender. Here is a pic of the bike in its current state on a recent trip.
FYI, I know some people have asked about bike size, so for frame of reference I'm about 6'2" and 180lbs.
