I had taken a ride to a small town near ours where we have a membership to their wine club to pick up our semi annual wine shipment. The road going there is fairly all country roads and maintained like you would expect so never has it been very smooth as far as I can recall.

So I get to the tasting room and pick up our 3 bottles and place them in the larger soft saddlebag on the left side. (Please note) this is the same side as the rear shock. Unbelievably the ride back home was noticeably smoother than without the bag being loaded. (And no I wasn't loaded either)
