Anyway, I haven't had her for more than twenty-four hours and I've already started tearing her down.

I wanted to install Full Throttle bars but don't have the prerequisite 28 mm mounts, but I did have lying around a Lucas aluminum 22 mm flat track bar. Picture below:



My questions to the forum are:
  1. Is a 22 mm aluminum going to be adequately strong, compared to a 28 mm fat bar or the original 22 mm steel bar?
  2. What problems could occur using this bar?
  3. Upgrade the mounting system to accept 28 mm bars then install the FT bar?
  4. Should I stop what I'm doing, reinstall the original bar and go ride?

The Full Throttle Bars come with a kit inclusive all mounts necessary, so I would go back to your dealer and ask him where they are!!
