I got an email today from my dealer. My FT will be here by week's end! I've been waiting for a month, but it's arriving a few weeks sooner than I thought it would. I may actually get a few days of riding weather before winter sets in here.:blob10:

I have a pile of parts/accessories in the corner of the garage waiting to go on the bike. I'll post up a few pics when they're all on.

Evotech engine guard, R&G tidy tail, Speedymoto rear axle sliders/spools, frame plugs, comfort seat and the higher front mudguard. I expect that I'll want to replace the foot pegs as well, based on my test ride and what others on here have said. I'm not sure how quickly it will all go on, I have a couple of other bike projects going on at the same time.

Here's the project I just finished up. 1998 ST2 that had been left to die a slow death in someone's yard. The before pic is a stock photo, I forgot to take one of the actual bike. It looked pretty much just like that only dirty, neglected and sad. With the exception of consumables (fluids, clutch pack, break pads/discs, filters, etc.), It was an all ebay bike.(Just to see if I could). I sold usable parts that I didn't need, and bought what I needed. This bike has gone to my oldest son to make room for the Scrambler. I still have a 1970 CB175 in parts in the garage...building a little cafe bike with my youngest son. My middle son bought a Kymco scooter. :angry7:

Took position today.
Great, albeit a bit cold, 100 miles of riding!
Still trying to get the mirror adjustment dialed in just where I want it, but otherwise I'm really happy with the bike.
More riding over the weekend!
