Since day one I have hated the stock seat. The comfort level on a scale of 1-10 is a 0 for me. After a thousand miles it broke in a little but not enough to be happy.
I figured that I would take a chance on a Luimoto seat cover. While the designs and colors that they offer standard are great. I wanted something custom.
After a few phone calls and emails the ball started to role and they sent out color samples. The custom department was very easy to work with designing the seat The extra time spent to get it right was worth it.
Installation was very easy with a pneumatic staple gun. I did order the Gel pad but wanted to try it first with just the padded seat cover. So far comfort has gone from a 0 to a 10. I was amazed that a thin layer of extra padding could help so much.

It's just a new seat cover with a little extra foam. The have a few designs. Mine was $230 and it's the Sport Cafe cover. They do have a up charge for custom design. Also, They offer a very cool gel insert that I bought, but haven't bothered to install. I have been testing it out before I change it.

Very nice Ken, I ordered one for my MV Agusta three weeks ago, they are very well made and know one would guess they are a cover,

Littleowl, its going to cost me £168-00 but well worth the money IMHO

I only have about 200 miles on my UE, and the seat is creating a love/hate relationship (its been over 24 hours and my arse still aches). I was looking at the luimoto military X cover and gel inserts. Would it be worth it to remove the tool kit hump as well? No matter what I look forward to seeing how you like their cover!

I did not remove the tool kit hump. I haven't even installed the gel which I paid good money for. The seat with just the little bit of extra padding is far better than stock. I like it just the way it is. I may install the gel in the near future. The weather has been great but winter might finally hit.

Good news Ken will be looking at ordering one in a few weeks.

Will do Dave, I've done 700 miles it's due for the first service, I love it, and I've forgiven you for costing me a load of dosh, seriously it's one of the best bikes I've ever had,
Me to, been spending most of the time on the Scrambler, I'm waiting for some nice weather for the MV, after all I did buy the Scrambler for a winter bike  didn't work out like that though it has a lot of miles on now,
