I just put on my UE a new Mustang seat, it went on easy, just had to turn the key so it would engage.

Now I cannot take it off even if I push down on the seat and turn the key at the same time.

I'm turning the to the point I'm affraid of breaking the key but still it doesn't want to come loose.

Any ideas to help me with this.

Thanks

I recently got a Mustang seat but don't have that issue. Mine fits fairly tight at the front mount, so I have to wiggle into position to get it to engage the post. The seat pan hugs the frame closer than the stock seat so it's a little tighter there as well. Try pulling up on the seat just above the tail light and wiggle it forward/backward a little with the key turned until it unlatches, (turning the key harder wont help). My seat latch cable likes to catch between the seat and frame (left side) when putting it back on, if yours does just push it inwards before you plug it back. It could be pushing the seat to one side while on not allowing it to release when you turn the key so you might check that, it may need some sideways wiggling too.

Good Luck. It's a great seat, I really like mine.
