Old brackets from a long broken screen, just chopped and bent a bit more ;-) I've not secured the bottem yet, I need to make something for this and won't bother until I've tested it.
I got my new alloy oval plate in the post. I also picked up some free secondhand aluminium plate to copy a small scrambler screen. Just have to bend some bar and make some brackets, I do enjoy fabricating.
Doesn't look so bad Nick. I wonder how it will fair on the road.
Chilly on the ride to work this morning, but the screen is superb and staying! I've only done 400 miles so still keeping the revs down, but a quick squirt to 80 showed it works at speed as well. I no longer feel like a barn door in a storm, just the usual wind on the head area. It makes it so much easier to ride, with no adverse effects on the handling
