The Zard is the street legal version with cat. Db-killers are removable but heavn't pulled the plug yet. Compaird to the FT Exhaust (wich i think is pretty nice) it's got a deeper tone to it and sounds more aggresive. Puts a smile on my face. Had some black wrap on tonight and painted the heat shield black as well. Next time i will also spray paint the exhaust wrap to make it more black. Tomorrow i get my seat and some other stuff. Starting to look like i want it :)

Tanks a lot for the info. I am a little bit undecided if I should buy the FT because of better exhaust and lower bars or buy a icon and add an aftermarket exhaust and the FT, or Rizoma or LSL Bars. But I think the best way would be to buy an Icon and modify it :)
The black wrap looks great. I am excited how it looks like in some months and if it is still black.

New things added to the bike.
Got my comfort seat and i love it. Didn't like the yellow tail on the stock FT and the comfort seat is great for my hight as well. Since i saw nothing but my sholders in the stock mirrors i put some new on the bar ends. Also mounted lower pegs. Comfort seat + lower pegs gave me 2 extra inch leg room. Also switched the 2015 gas throttle to the updated 2017 model. Now its much more calm at low speed. Thats it for now. Have some more plans but will spend some time riding now instead. So if you have second thoughts about buying a Scrabler becouse you are tall. Just do it! Im 6,4 and ride the damn thing like a king now haha.

When you say swapped the throttle for the 2017 model, where did you get it from and how much did you pay please ?

Just ask a Ducati dealer where you live and they can get it for you directly from Ducati for sure.

I got mine from a German webshop.
gas throttle control linear/progressive Scrambler suggested article - Italo-Shop Neuss
Thanks this is great, I bought the G2 Throttle tamer, like I said previously the Ducati technician opinion was not much difference low down but noticeable mid range, I'll buy one and see the difference between the 2 prefer better low down control

Hi guys!
Installing the lower pegs made a huge improvement. Problem is my right foot gets a little bit to far away from the break pedal. You know of any break pedal and shifter with a slightly different angle to get them out like 1 inch? Any ideas?

Hi Harry,
Just ordered a comfort seat as well for the same reason. Those lower pegs and mirrors look great!
Could you please tell me the brand & model of both pegs & mirrors.
Cheers

If you have been searching for 'break' pedal etc. and not getting many results maybe you could try 'brake' instead for better results. I know Ebay can be spelling sensitive.

Hi there StenHarry!

Interesting to follow your thread since I'm 190 cm too!

I just rode my first two hours on my FT ( first two hours on ANY motorcycle for that matter) and wondering what you think about your mods now after some months?!
Right now I'm seriously consider the 2017 throttle...
And a black or brown saddle...

I figure you're Stockholm-based as well?!

cheers

Daniel

I very much like wot you have done with your bike , just a quick question wot are the benefits of wrapping exhaust though it does look good. And did you do all the work your self ? Is it easy to change exhaust an would any kind remapping have to be done?
