This is my general ride area. I might be planning a ride out to Louisiana here in July! I would love to get a couple of twins out here and see what mods we get together!

I am finalizing details for a 10 day twisty tour...maybe early June time frame
(In order to hit the Switz' Friday buffet and do the Dragon on a non-week-end day, Day 2 must be a Wednesday)
Day 1; Home to Elkins, WV
Day 2; Elkins to Lewisburg, WV (includes trip under New River Gorge Bridge)
Day 3; Lewisburg to Abington, VA (includes Highland Pkwy, Back of Dragon)
Day 4; Abington to Little Switzerland, NC (includes the Snake, the Diamondback, the Devil's Whip & Switz' Inn's FRIDAY buffet)
Day 5; Little Switzerland to Murphy, NC (includes the Devil's Drop, Wayah Road)
Day 6; Murphy to Fontana Village, NC (includes a trip into N. GA, Cherohala Skyway)
Day 7; Fontana to Linville, NC (It's Monday-Dragon Day!, Moonshiner28, Roan Mountain)
Day 8; Linville to Beckley, WV (includes that addictive section of rt 10 north of Matoaka)
Day 9; Beckley to Petersburg, WV (includes Smoke Hole Road)
Day 10; Home again, home again, jigity jog.
Get your Scrambler broken in and the oil changed and join me for all or any part of this adventure.
Would be great to get a few Scramblers together on these rts.
Daily mileage will be in the 200-250 miles range. (These are extreme twisties, experienced riders only.)

Ogre, that is a fantastic plan. This is clearly not your first rodeo. You know your roads. I am attending a VFR event for 5 days with ride HQ in Franklin, NC in late May (Official 12Th Annual Texasmac Event Thread 2015 - TEXASMAC - VFR Discussion so June may be too soon for me but I'll keep your trip on my radar. Would love to manage a Scrambler trip with other owners.

Confirned dates are still wide open. If we get some interest in this, I can be flexible with dates.
My 1st trip is planned for the last week of April.
Gonna meet a friend and be on my S10 trying out some new tires
(TKC80s) in WV then hit the ADV event hosted by Romney Cycles the end of that week.
Hoping it warms up a little by then.

Maybe you can...if not, I will bring the GoPro & take some videos.What a great route, I stayed in Fontana Village resort for a week , doing the Dragons Tail, some fantastic roads around those parts, Wish I could be there Ogre,
