Hi everyone, I'm putting together a ride report from a recent trip and wanted to add some maps to show the roads I traveled. I'd like to be able to have the route saved so the streets I took are highlighted. Anyone know of a good way to do this? Also, some of the roads are in National Forest, so the maps would need to be fairly comprehensive. The area I need would be western North Carolina USA. Any links or info would be great. TIA

I just did the using Google Maps - you need to log in and go to My Maps. The best way I found was to add layers for each leg of the trip. To do this, click on the Add Directions button under the search field and it will pop up with the origin and destination fields on the left hand side of the screen. You can then alter the route by dragging it to the roads you took. Hope this helps!
