Just put in a new OEM Yuasa battery. Followed instructions from Yuasa to initiate/activate battery. Everything went well.
It's only been 5 days after my first ride with the new battery and when I plugged in my battery tender last night, it showed a solid red light, which indicates that there's less than 80% charge. My old 4+ year battery rarely if ever went below the 80% mark (flashing green) when I plugged it in, regardless of how long the bike was or wasn't used.
Today I plugged the charger again (after charging the battery last night) and again, solid red light for a minute or so before going to flashing green.
So I guess I'm wondering if the new battery needs/takes more time to settle or something is not right?
Thanks.
