Hello

The OEM footpegs of the Scrambler are very slippy when they are wet, so I looked for more efficient ones.
I finally installed a pair of footpeg coming from the Multistrada 1200, with rubber pads, that don't slip when wet.

The price is : 55 euros for 2 footpegs and 2 rubber pads.

Here they are :

I installed those on my FT as the OEM foot pegs are very slippery and a tad short, I'm now looking around the workshop for a pair of castoff rear multistrada pegs to match.

You'll have to order them from a Ducati dealer which shouldn't be a problem.

What holds the rubber pads in?

My 1998 BMW F650 that I bought new has rubber inserts held into its pegs by 2 bolts. One insert finally fell off after 15 or so yrs and 100,000 km. Luckily it happened at a servo and I noticed, picked it up and later refitted it with new bolts and loctite.

If the multistrada rubbers are just a press fit, expect to lose them at some time.

I have done 11500miles plus 22500 miles on two multistrada with these they have never failed. But, when the rubber wears ie this week on my 11500 multi in the wet my right foot slipped off the peg a couple of times
