There is pretty much only three rules to follow.
1. Don't thrash it when cold.
2. Don't do the first engine oil change too soon.
3. Don't let it warm up on idle.
Any other are really down to mechanical sympathy, some people have and some have not.

True to all bikes and not just a Scrambler

Follow the running in procedure - less than 6000 RPM until first service is done at 630 miles...

Use a dealer for the first 2 years to keep warantee.

Keep an eye on oil levels, chain tension, and tyre pressures

Clean and lube chain regularly (I lube every 300miles and clean and Lube every 900 miles)

Wash it and look after it.

If you use it in the winter - salt eats bikes - so wash after every ride and protect all metal parts (especially exposed fastners and aluminium) with something like WD40 or Silicone Spray.

If you regularly ride in wet / winter a treatment of ACF50 will help keep bikes looking good.

For Scrambler 800 - keep an eye on clutch free play at the lever... there has been a number of clutch failures as the adjustment was incorrect.
