Shock yes but will have to take it in for getting springs replaced. I don't have tools & really nor the time.
I saw a photo of your bike in the windscreen thread, which one do you have. I have DART and am not happy with it.

I was very pleased with a Wilbers shock on an F650GS back in the day, so I'm anxious to hear about this one. And that's the World Walk screen from Webike Japan. Similar to the Dart and perhaps even smaller, but I usually prefer a minimal screen. What has been your experience with the Dart?

Oh cool, I had a F650GS that I sold for a F700GS! I haven't done any riding after putting the screen on but it is small and may not help that much with wind deflection, my main reason for buying one.

I'm betting the Dart will help more than you think, but maybe not as much as you want. I can't tolerate helmet buffeting, and that's what I get so much of the time with a taller screen, unless it's so tall I dang near look thru it, and I can't stand that either.

I've just realized you're in the US, do you mind to tell me where you ordered the Wilbers, please? Thanks

Sarah

p.s. You could put your location in your profile, if you like. Thanks again.

I ordered it from Herman at Wheels and Wings in Florida.Website www.HermanUSA.com Very informative and helpful individual.

I also talked to two other Wilbers distributors here in US.

TedPorterBeemer shop which is close to my place. I was hoping to order it from Ted as they are local but after multiple phone calls I gave up as there was no response from them.

Second was Klaus from EPM Performance Imports, website www.epmperf.com. Klaus was very responsive as well but by then I had already decided to go with Herman as he was the first distributor I had contacted.

Thanks, indio. I'll check with Klaus, I believe he sold me the BMW shock. I'm just now trying to get a handle on the various options, haven't come close to making a decision yet. Thanks again, I'm looking forward to hearing about the Wilbers.

Two days into riding (about 140 miles) with Wilbers progressive spring and 630 shock. Ride is much better than what it was. No bone jarring feeling after hitting every bump and riding over rough road surfaces. The fact that one of the fork legs is a dead leg and having spent <$200 for springs and oil, can't complain. I can imagine what Andreani full cartridge will do to the ride but that solution is x4 times what I spent on fork springs.I haven't played with preload and rebound settings of the shock yet.

Overall a very noticeable difference in the ride much smoother, more predictable and not 100% stiff/harsh response as with stock parts.
