I don't like it personally. I have no doubt it a high quality Zard as usual but to me looks over engineered and too big. Bet it sounds good though.:encouragement:

Not a fan myself. I think it has great lines - works with the curves of the bike. I just don't like the heat shield with those odd circles.

Have one on the webshop cart, waiting for confirmation on the homologation issue. Specifically if it is E-approved so that cops would have nothing to say. Not that I would ever do anything to attract police officers attention.
Also asked about the need for remapping ECU - apparently according to sources on the internet Zards should work fine with original mappings (based on info onther bikes than Scrambler)

Reply from Zard:

The exhaust in homologated version has a catalyzer in the back part of the silencer but it’s covered with heat shield. It’s legal with road laws in Europe.
The product is projected to work perfectly with original CPU and it takes about 2 Hp more from dyno tests.
Delivery time is 20 working days from order.

That is exactly what I was thinking and a good thing my bike was a bit delayed as I jumped out of having a Termi on just in time. So many other options now coming out. The plus side is you do have an awesome sounding exhaust

hey hedonism,

I see your in italy, Im an expat living in the south, not familiar with road laws here,
i wanna put the high line zard exhaust on. what is the official legal way of doin it? everyone tells me different things, e.g. no its completely illegal, you need to visit the motor office and register it which costs €€€€€€€ and then need to do revisione, and then guys that just say put it on and hope the police don't ask questions. as long as the manufacturer say its homologated it should be fine right???

I have a lot of family in and around Cosenza, Southern Italy. My cousin is a cop himself and turns a blind eye to those who ride without helmets but if an exhaust is very loud he will give a warning or a fine.... only if in town though. They make their own rules in the south
