Next shipment to Oz

My dealer (Brisbane Motorcycles) has a couple of "extra" yellow icons on the floor you could get tomorrow if you're interested.

Get it transferred / shipped over?

Talk to Ducati Bunbury. I didn't have a great interaction with the local Perth dealer and tried them. Managed to get one of their demos immediately. They're also great people to deal with.

Just called the dealer. Shipment due Sydney end of June then 2 more weeks to get them to Perth!
The boat almost sails past Fremantle on the way from Thailand yet doesn't stop, so presumably they come over by road. How eco friendly!

I can also vouch for Bunbury Ducati. They are a great little family outfit who provide excellent service - plus Patto is a legend!

Ah the old "shipment due in Sydney in 2 weeks"... Had me going from 14 Feb - first estimate from my dealer - until I changed my order to an Icon in mid April. Good thing I did as the Urban Enduro I had ordered is still nowhere to be seen.

I was told two weeks ago that the shipment was due at the end of May. Now I'm confused. I want my bike now!:apologetic: Please, pretty please.

I have had a prompt and efficient response to every email I've sent them.

I have ordered my Classic with Wayne at Bunbury Ducati and have found these guys great to deal with. Super Friendly and nothings a bother. Maybe if you get yours through them and it comes in at the same time mine does we can ride them back together.

Any idea when it's likely to arrive?
I saw on the ducati.ms forum that Wayne is already tweaking the Scrambler.

That's his son Todd. I'm looking forward to what he does with the Air Intake as he's already had great success with his WASP PUK's. He's currently testing a power commander and quick shifter.

Wayne thinks my Classics going to be unpacked from the container in Sydney over this weekend. Hopefully he has it by Friday next week. More likely the following Monday.

Have had an email from Wayne. My enquiry got caught by his spam filter, and he apologised for the delay in getting back to me. :thumbsup:
No Icons in stock but may have a Classic in a couple of weeks. Tempting but I think I'll wait for the Icon.

I also contacted Causeway Ducati but they are no longer a Ducati dealer. Maybe they should update their website and change their name!

Aargh. Now I'm contemplating spending an extra $1600 plus a 400km round trip to get a Classic a few weeks earlier than the Icon!

Patience or temptation???

Likely be picking mine up from Wayne on Wednesday next week. Patience is so difficult when you just wants something now. Good luck with you choice and speedy delivery Kev.

hello all I was lucky a few weeks ago some one cancelled their red icon order so I bought one on the day I walked into the shop had it a few weeks now and very happy with it.

Anyone who has an Icon on order have any idea if they have arrived in Oz yet? Dealer said they were due at the end of June.
I'm not expecting my dealer to let me know until I call them, even though they said they'd let me know.
