Have purchased a holder to replace my mud scraper etc.

It measures 6 7/10" x 3 3/4" so I think it will only take a 7 x 5.

I seem to have found someone who can do this (MOT LEGAL), www.fancyplates.com.

Anyone have something similar or/and any suggestions? For instance do you think it would hold an 8 x 6 ok?

Thanks

Does it protrude far enough out to ensure the plate wouldn't hit the rear wheel even if the suspension is loaded?

You could always 'offer it up' with the UK plate on and see. You could even fit it. I'd recommend leaving the mudscraper on until your sure though. It's easy to remove but takes longer than you'd think. However, the new tail-tidy shouldn't be that hard to fit at all.

I don't think it would hit the wheel as a couple of guys in the USA have fitted one, including Max Cool (but he has a DS).

Will fit the bracket as you suggest. Great idea.

Many thanks.
