Original crew?

Any of the original riders from first days on the forums still have their bike besides me?

I got the first urban Enduro in Virginia and still have mine. I keep 2 or 3 bikes and only have 19k miles on it. Just curious who is still team scrambler.

I've had my Icon since 2015 (October). Still got it and not planning on a change anytime soon. Joined the forum soon after, the beginning of November '15.

I think I'll always have the scrambler.
I finally ordered a fuel tuner. And I may do a cam swap for a little more power. But I can't see getting rid of it.

Likewise, I will probably hang on to this. Maybe if I was a lot younger I'd play around with other models/manufacturers – I don't hate the new Scramblers for example – but where I am, I reckon minus a lotto win this is my last bike 🙂

Another one here. Bought my Icon on 2015 with no intention of keeping it longer than a year. Eight years on and that bike is a fixture.

For context I've been riding for more than 45 years, running everything from old British singles and twins to two-stroke screamers and big Jap litre bikes.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but despite looking really hard on a number of occasions I haven't found a bike that matches the Scrambler for simple fun; just powerful enough, light, bouncy and characterful. So here I am, a confirmed Scramblerphile.

Can it remember when I brought ours I think it was mid 2018. I saw one on a ride and thought that was a perfect bike for my partner and I to share (she has a S2R 1000cc Monster she will never sell) so a month later we had a Full Throttle in the stable.

I thought I might get the "new" scrambler. They had said so much was going to be new. And apparently it is. But it's basically the same engine and specs.
Don't know if I qualify as "original crew", but I bought a leftover 2016 Flat Track Pro in January of 2018 and have been here ever since.

Been lurking here a while and same deal, bought a leftover 2016 FTP in 2018, been riding it since. I used your pics as mod inspiration but my bike has been through a few different style changes since then.

Bought my Scrambler Classic in October 2016. Over 50k miles on it. Love this bike. Didn’t get on the forums till a few years ago.

The land of joy. I forgot that was their tag line
Still running my 2015 yellow Icon and still looks brand new...if a little modified.

Sorta regret not getting wire wheels now but at the time the tubeless were more practical...and I spent the extra money on the TERMI!

I went for "the modern interpretation of a vintage flat tracker" look (ignore the tail bag for now):

Essentially paying homage to the people who rode to the track, taped the lights and raced.

My inspiration was the Solo Racer project:

Oh, by the way, my Tacoma is an '09.

Hi!! Yes indeed OG crew all the way! Put my deposit on it in October 2014 two days after it was unveiled at the Intermot show. Took home my Icon April 24th 2015. My pony is still going strong and It will turn 50k miles tomorrow! I will drain the fluids one day and park it in my livingroom once it's seen the end of life.

Fills me with joy… and a bit of regret I don't manage to get out more!

Aw, no regrets!! Just means you've spent way less on service, tires and repairs but still have had all the enjoyment! 😁

Also regretting that I don't get out more. Been happily riding my '16 Icon since I rolled it off the showroom floor, and unless Yamaha decides to build new RD400 or RZ350 bikes, I'll be riding my Icon till either me or it gives up the ghost-

2017 I think DS chopped up to make an adventure bike but still love it. Just fell in love with the motor and the feel I get bagged by the KTM's and BeeM's but don't care.
