Glad to hear you are really enjoying the new ride SimonHi Tony
I spoke to Mike yesterday and yours isn't due in until Monday. I did ask and I did look for you.
I went out for about 45 minutes this morning for a first ride. I cannot fault it at all.
It will burble along slowly or really kick if you want it to.
No issues with stalling, neutrals or suspension.
In fact, with my new Shoei Air helmet on and the sun visor down it was nice And quiet and smooth. The gearbox is a dream.
I can't wait to go out again for longer.
You won't be disappointed.
By the way I appreciate you enquired after the Icon on my behalfHi Tony

Ta I guess I better take my Kriega US10 and hope it fits in there...Sorry to butt in, but I know the leather document wallet will not fit under the seat. What you do get though is a tool kit wrapped in a nice canvas pouch with Scrambler written across it.
It's green like the Urban which is nice but it will suit your bike too.
Si apologies for hijacking your threadLooking great, have loads of fun (you will!).
TC3 so glad you are finally near to getting yours, the handbook no way will it fit under the seat, the space there is minimal, just about big enough for a phone! You will def need some kind of rucksack or tailback/tankbag. I take a waist bag for bare essentials and a rucksack if I'm going farther afield!
Thanks Si but I dont like the look of itmyself. Someone is bound to bite thoughIf anyone is interested in swopping their Black ICON seat for my Black and Yellow FT one then let me know. TONY?
Shame as would have been nice if it was the fancy thing rather than a black folder.I hope it says Ducati on it at leastIt's a small black folder like you get with a car. I didn't get one of those fancy leather ones. Glad I took the van to collect. It never would have crossed my mind I would have needed to carry anything.
Looks like my first stop is the petrol station across the road!Yes it does. Mike does a good job prepping the bike. Bit stingey on the petrol though :bootyshake:
Thanks a lotThe bolt that came out measures 24cms from end of nut to end of nut
Yeah right why dont I ride around with a 24cm bolt in my jacket which is unlikely to cause injury in the event of an accident.....Stick it in your jacket
If it comes then I will make plenty of noiseMaybe so. Look forward to seeing how you get on this coming week too.
Will do Albie ...looks nice and worth having. Pretty sure Sophia who is one of the ladies in Bologna and has called me twice after i made enquiries about online user manual will get me one if dealer can notDucati supplied one for EVERY scrambler owner. Your dealer should get you one gratis. Hassle them until you do.
