After test riding 8 or so bikes I decided on the Scrambler. Found a new '16 and got a great deal with the FT bars included. Picking it up tomorrow!

My current wishlist for mods is a set of bar end mirrors, exhaust, cafe racer seat (can I order the OEM one?), and possibly a vinyl wrap (anyone gotten a quote to wrap the scrambler?)...

Brought her home today... heat index was 106! Looking forward to some cooler weather for sure!

Also... the mirrors... either I broke them or the dealer did. They are aimed way to low. I tried to tilt them back, but they don't budge. The base of the mirrors is cracked on both mirrors and I still couldn't see anything but the ground. Do I have to adjust the base that attaches to the handle bars? Very frustrating...

Yup. That's the way to do it.

If your bases are cracked, well, that's not right. Likely someone tried to "adjust" them without knowing about the nut.

I tried this yesterday. Loosening the 12 mm did not allow any adjustment. The mirrors (both) feel seized and I couldn't budge them up or down. Loosening the 10 mm nut did allow some adjustment, but not enough. I'll have to go by the dealer.
