Well, knobby tires are louder then pure road tires, but they don't "sing" as the Anakee Adv did at 90 km/h. I think, in comparison to other 80/20 tires they are pretty ok. The Heidenau K60s on my previous bike were louder.

I have them on my Nightshift and have not noticed any significant noise increase. Although to be fair I ride with a much louder slip on than stock plus ear plugs.

Biggest difference for me was the feel of them on the road vs the stock MT60's. You'll definitely feel those knobs in corners but you'll get used to it pretty quick. I have about 1500mi on mine and I feel pretty much as confident on them as I did the MT60's when riding around town.

Rally STR is a big block tread design. As quiet as any street tire. Grip is pretty good for a dual sport tire.
I concur, excellent grip and versatility and not noisy-but spendy and not high mileage, on my third rear tire at 12k miles. I trust the grip and ride now so I keep using them.
