New bike, more info needed, do we have to guess. How about one clue a day for five days with reveal on Wednesday. I can provide a prize for the winner how about a tin of Wurth dry chain lube being up for grabs.

Joint winners would have to share the single tin. Terms and conditions apply.

Special exemption Gill can enter without attending but other entrants have to be at the Ponderosa to collect the prize on the day. Steve

Graham I think you are exempt from this competition unless you don't know what you bought. My guess is Moro guzzi audace. Biggest twin I can think of.
If it's shaft drive you won't need the chain lube.

It's that poor neglected Scrambler I feel sorry for. I can take it in Graham and give it the attention it deserves. Any other neglected Ducatis or unwanted Ducatis will be welcome through my ever open doors.

My guess today is 1199 panigale.

I shall be up the Ponderosa this morning guys, and gals :D
Can't stop long , I have a parcel being delivered so I have to be back pretty sharpish

Simon , Ducati have done a couple of mods on the Hyperstrada since you must have ridden it,
You can only buy it in red,
it has a 160 mm ground clearance, (not 178mm)
and the seat hight is 810 mm (with std seat) 25mm lower with the low seat,
It's much tamer than the Hypermotard, I've been using it in touring mode so far,
They only do the one model now,
Only downside, heated grips not in stock  Whats new :( still awaiting Scrambler ones too

It also suits me better than the Multi because of its much lighter weight, ( I'm not getting any younger :()
Graham good to see you yesterday really like the new hyperstrada, I have put off buying my next bike as the scrambler seems enough at the moment but the gap in my garage will have to be filled next spring. The Quality and finish of the Hyperstrada is really tempting keep us updated on how you enjoy it.

Thanks Steve, Nice to see you again, and thanks for the chain lube, Sorry it was a brief visit, But I had to get back and the weather was crap anyway, poured down all the way back as you know, :(

MJ ! I was told they only make the one HyperStrada now, It's the low one like mine and they only do it in RED, I did wonder if it would effect the ground clearance when cornering, but it doesn't , I've used the edges of the tyre and not grounded anything, YET
I'm just over 6ft tall with an inside leg of 31" in my stocking feet, and the standard seat is fine I can flat foot easily, Steve who's a little shorter than me had a sit on and he thought it was fine,

A BMW GS was parked next to me when we came out from breakfast, WOW did it look tall , :( and heavy  perhaps because they are :D
Yes I find the Hyperstrada really comfortable with my short stature but 32 inside leg. The quality of the finish and the tidy pannier fittings really make a smart bike, very tempted. Noticed Graham's front tyre already being used to the edges so handling looks good but my scrambler wants to be ridden and would sulk as it's still the new baby in the stable.

Great to see you Steve, sorry to miss you Graham and Carol! I'm assuming it was you caught up with me on way home - it was good to see the back of the bike - they don't look too small (except when disappearing into the distance :D ). Did you stop for another cuppa at Ellesmere? I'm going to give mine another wash - it looked dirtier than yours ;)

PS It's raining again and my washing got dry! Good timing :)
Yes it was me at Ellesmere was going home the long way again! This bike never wants to go the short route. Good dry roads and not too much traffic. Apologies for filling your mirrors.
