powder coat or wet paint

Hi all
i want to paint my side panels preferably powder coat for the better durability, but i found that inside the panels are 2 rubber cushions that are glued in a unremovable without breaking, im worried with a powder coat they might melt and ruin the whole panel, so im in limbo between wet paint and powder coat, ive seen some owners have removed and painted there panels, and advice wpuld be great
Thankd

hmmm...that's odd, my rubber cushions were not glued....
You have to remove them to powdercoat them (stick them in an oven.) The badges come off using fishing line in a sawing motion to saw through the tough, gray moulding tape that holds them on. They're hollow so it's really thick stuff. You can remove them without bending them if you cut through the stuff.
Yeah i have thr panels off already, its the rubber stoppers im worried about

They came out quite easily mate. When replacing I attached the bung to the clip on the side panel first then slid the whole unit back into the tank slot.
My rubber bungs were glued in, they had to come out for powder coating but the people doing it managed to get them out okay.
Brought mine to a powder coating specialist he wasnt comfortable taking them so ended up having to liquid paint them, oh well thats life.
