I installed the Ducati racing airbox lid on my Scrambler 1100 today, and it wasn't anywhere near as painful as I thought it would be. Ducati did a piss poor job with the placement of the air filter. That said, it's about an hour job once you realize what you have to move out of the way to actually get to the airbox lid. The oil cooler, rectifier, and coil packs need to be moved. The oil cooler is super easy to move around one you get it off the mounts. Then just remove the plug wires and electrical connection of the right side coil pack. Then you just move the packs and bracket out to the left side of the bike. That will give you all the room you need to unscrew the airbox lid and get it out. Then you just reuse the rubber gasket and quick fasteners from the original airbox lid and put everything back together. Can't wait for my ECU to get back from remapping to see how this this feels!
