hello to all,
I'm facing an issue when dismounting my scrambler rear shock:
the lower part or the shock remains in place after having removed the lower screw.
The bike is supported with a trolley and I would expect the rear wheel to fall down whenever the bolt was out but it did not .
Even when the upper part is removed and forcing with my hands it doesn't come off from the swinging arm.

Does someone has an idea about this ??
Thx

There is a spacer in the clevis. It's like a short length of tube. If it's not lined up then the lower portion of the shock will not release.

There is also a flat washer in the stock setup, get that out first as it tends to make the previously mentioned spacer hang up.

Thanks for all tour tips, it finally came out easily after having removed the washer.
I replaced the OEM shock with an ohlins and it looks great but looking at the [DIY] post, mine is mounted reversly and I think I have to spend more time to do it again correctly this week-end :BangHead:
