After riding, 2 hours later, the two red warning lights on the dashboard continue blinking, although the bike is standing still in the garage and power is switched off.

Whats wrong and how do I turn it off?

If I remember correctly, they stop after four hours?

Whatever the case, they will stop and cause no real drain on the battery.

The system is actually an immobilizer tied to your key. The engine won't start unless the ECU reads the signal from your key.

Pretty slick, huh?

I can't make much sense of the manual, to be honest. I've tried a time or two, and the way it's written just puts me off, or sure enough, right to sleep. I pledge to try harder.

The manual is handy for the occasional "quick reference", but to read cover to cover, comprehend and retain?

Fugitabotit!

It's more fun to ask a question here just to see what kind of smart-ass answers you get.

Reading the manual was all part of the 6 month wait and build up to delivery, I however stay by my comment "RTFM" which I use on many occasions.:D and it has the added benifit of annoying others,

However if there is one thing I have learnt in all the years, reading the manual can solve untold problems, infact reading can solve most problems, unfortunately in this day and age most people are just too idle to read and I mean that sincerely.
