Looks to me that the front reflectors are just stuck on with double sided tape.

Before i go to peel them off, is my assumption right? Are there any tips for getting these off, or just heat them up. Pull them off, then goo-gone any left over residue ?

Yep, hair dryer or heat gun on low (careful with the heat gun though), then any residue either really hot (almost boiling water) or goo gone and you're done.
