Hi all, going through Spain and France next week and as my bike is the loudest among the 8 of us going with the Termi on I don't want to attract attention from the law so thinking about putting the stock pipe back on but without going back to the dealer to pay for a temporary remap (until I go back with the termi).
Now I know that doing it the other way would make it run too lean, just wondering that it shouldn't do it any harm?
Thoughts?

Just put your baffle in? They are usually quiet enough with it in. Downside of the race termi, not road approved...

From what I understand, it shouldn't harm the bike but it will likely shorten the life of the catalytic converter, because remaps usually run a bit fatter. Probably something you're not too bothered about though?
Upside. Cops don't often seem to care about louder twins, they only get butthurt about sports bikes screaming away.

I did ride through Germany, France, Belgium and Switzerland with no baffle in, making a lot of noise and no one batted an eyelid.
