If you haven't done this already, I've just done it. Info on the Scottoiler website and online generally is poor I agree. It took me a long time and I dismantled a lot more of the bike than I needed to. Very please with the result though I used the
Scottoiler Vsystem Sport bought from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Scottoiler-Vsystem-Sport/dp/B01GS7L6ZQ/ref=cm_cr_othr_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 for £87.95
I started removing the airbox and throttle slide, which needed the tank removing. I couldn't get the airbox out and couldn't get see the vacuum point shown in this post:
Scrambler - (2015 >) I've uploaded the picture of the vacuum point I couldn't see or get to.
Instead I connected the vacuum at one of the flexible rubber hoses behind the right hand cover below the tank. I had removed the fuel tank by this stage and I'm not sure if I would have been able to do it without removing the tank.
The sequence of photos here
Ducati Scrambler were useful and show where I connected the T-piece for the vacuum connection. Very tight on space and fiddly to do. (but I'm new to working on bikes.. much less space than cars!) I didn't locate the oiler reservoir under the seat as shown in this article, but on the frame tube at the left hand side also shown in the this photo sequence.
