Has someone already fitted rackless soft panniers to their 1100? I was thinking of the Kriega OS-Base with their OS packs:

The upper part I could attach to my rear rack, but I am unsure if there is any good place to attach the lower/front strap of the base to the bike?

Regarding heat: I have the Sport with stock underseat mufflers and the heatshields don't seem to ever become hot, I can always lay my hands on them and they are just warm, so I think this should be ok.

IF it worked on the 1100 it would probably work on the icon too, frame and swingarm look pretty similar. I might head out to a shop to see if they would let me try the OS-base on the bike.

Though not sure where to attach the rear straps if you don't have a rack...

Found a shop that let me try the OS-base universal, the passenger seat is to wide. It might work with one of the versions for KTM/AT/BMW but they did not have that base...
