Scrambler 821??

I really love my new scrambler and am very glad I chose it, Was considering a Multistrada which is at the other end of the range but love the lite weight, nimble and easy to deal with nature of the Scrambler. That being said before I start pouring money into mods I would hope that in the not too distant future Ducati will offer a premium Scrambler with 821 motor, Olins and forged wheels. Anyone have thoughts on if or when?

Buy the Multistrada and the Scrambler - they like company and compliment each other :)

No rumors of anything like that yet.

I'm not sure I'd fancy a watercooled Scrambler but it's probably inevitable. Also a bonus if the next one is, as that means the current crop will be the last air cooled Ducati, no doubt making it an instant classic.

I think in a year or maybe two, we'll see a facelift. Better suspension and enough visual tweaks to make it look different enough. Probably not much more than that.

The biggest rumors are of Ducati bringing out a smaller displacement version, not larger.

If you think there's something (supposedly) better around the corner you would never buy anything!
Modding is part of the fun for me,rather than buying an off the shelf bike that has been done for you. You'll always want to change something anyway.
I did buy a Scrambler and love it but the cost of modding it would be a lot more than buying a higher spec factory version.

That's a big part of owning a bike to me, being able to modify it to my own taste, admitted it can become very expensive, but it doesn't all have to be done in one go does it,

I also have the Hyperstrada, not much modding needed, apart from heated grips, but it's 4/5 k more money,

I wouldn't have thought they'd bring out an 821 considering the Scrambler is 803? Wouldn't be much point surely .. I've done some mods on mine which make it (hopefully) pretty darn perfect for me. Depends on what you want to do re mods, as to total cost - the main important (and expensive) ones for me have been the suspension, I also had the seat resculpted, which has cost me just over £1k. There isn't a bike out there of the same spec, aesthetics, and size, which exists for me!
