I wouldn't have done it so, I would have rather built a higher seat or found a solution to fix it a little bit higher on the bike, because changing the bike geometry doesn't seem to me the better change.

Your bike stability remains the same ? Did you try to drive it without holding the handling bar to see if it's stable enough ?

Actually made seat higher by putting fitting on top fuel tank bolts.Lifts by 20 mm .Now a gap which will fill with foam till seat recovered
