I found a cure for the hard suspension on sunday......ride it like you stole it
You could have a bit of truth there, the suspension will sag and break-in like any other moving part. I lowered a brand new Bandit for someone, after three years it had softened enough that I had to raise it again. All be it not back to standard but in-between.I found a cure for the hard suspension on sunday......ride it like you stole it![]()
Hmmm I weigh 59kgs so don't think I'm going to make much of an impression on breaking in the suspensionYou have to bear in mind that manufacturer's also have to build a bike which may carry 2x 120+ kgs people so if 1 person who weighs 70 kgs is the only person who rides the bike it stands to reason they will find the suspension a tad firm!
It looks beautifull!!! We are all waiting for your thorough report.Ok guys and galsRear shocker arrived earlier, beautifully made etc, looks too nice to put on the bike,

Instructions?!!!and full instructions on how to fit to the Scrambler
I think your right, it's a budget priced bike with moderate performance and so fitting expensive, high end suspension is overkill really. The bike needs better susension for sure, but it needn't be expensive - simply proportionate to the price and performance of the bike. The price is great - here in the States, and it's really all the Scrambler needs, IMO - a full-on race unit would be a waste.
