I put my scrambler in for a service and to get the belts done.
They had an issue with the odometer resetting to 0 after the battery was disconnected.
Bike was returned with double the mileage it should have had.
it came back with 12,000 miles when it should read about 6,500.
I pointed it out when the bike was dropped off to me.
Dealer is closed due to the current lockdown.
Anyone else had a similar issue with the clocks and was it rectified?

The Maths don't quite pan out but thought it worth a mention – it is reading Miles not Kilometres isn't it, I know you can change it through the menu?

The numbers in my original post are correct.
The numbers are as follows.
It should read roughly 6500 miles and it came back reading 12,400 miles.
When they were attempting to sort the issue it apparently went up to 24,000 miles.
they worked on it for another couple of days to attempt to correct it.
So it was returned to me with roughly double the mileage it should have.
12.400 miles on the clocks instead of 6,500.
What part are you having trouble understanding?
6,500 miles if converted to kilometres would be 10,400.

Instead of being a snarky prick how about some common courtesy towards somebody who was genuinely trying to help.
Deano968 was simply suggesting that maybe your speedo went into the shop reading miles and came out reading kilometers. He did mention that the maths didn’t quite line up.
A stupid error like that is not beyond the realms of possibility from any shop and is easy to miss.
As far as I am concerned with your attitude you are on your own. Good luck fixing your problem by yourself.
