Colours inspired by 1973 750SS Green Frame bevel. A full on successful production racer and based on the 1972 F750 winner at Imola?
The racer had a brown suede seat also.

The green frame is okay I guess, but the seat cover? They should have made it like some of the custom cafe racer builds of the scrambler - as a monoposto!

Is it bigger? IMO in those colours I wouldn't be able to help putting clip-ons and a bikini fairing on it...

Just that tank logo style... they *know* that the Sport Classic is now like crack for Ducatisti... if they were to make a Scrambler R then I'd hope that we'd see a call-back to that logo and with all of the key notes hit... This version though suggests that a "café" scrambler wearing classic 750SS colours and boasting ace bars and conti' style exhausts could be an unexpected delight... whatever we can think up is inevitably already being bounced around in Bologna, but I sure hope that they have the courage to put a few twists into production.

With the Scrambler Classic they already hit a home run, the bike is just *such* fun to ride and I am rapidly running out of reasons for the others to still occupy garage space... alarmingly!

(and there's something so "Hammerite" about that frame... it's wrong but so so so right... it needs building. All of these matt-black - yawn - racers are missing a trick in mainlining vintage Ducati colouring...)
