That's a cast wheel in the picture but are the wire spoked wheels using tubeless tyres but with a tube fitted, or are they tubeless as well ?
Ducati Scrambler is equipped with Tubeless Dual Sport Tires from Pirelli, 110/80 ZR18 front, 180/55 ZR17 rear.
My dealer said they are all tubeless including spoked wheels. That's a cast wheel in the picture but are the wire spoked wheels using tubeless tyres but with a tube fitted, or are they tubeless as well ?
Somebody did post about this but I can't remember what was said.
I really hope your dealer is correct, that would be best of both.My dealer said they are all tubeless including spoked wheels.
Yes, they are all tubeless tyres but with tubes fitted to the wire spoked wheels. My dealer said they are all tubeless including spoked wheels.
So......forgive the bleeding obvious question but......how can they be tubeless with tubes in them?Yes, they are all tubeless tyres but with tubes fitted to the wire spoked wheels.
because the tyre is the same... his edge could take air inside BUT it will spill from nipples holes. So you can put a tubeless TYPE tyre on this wheels but it will stay flat without a tube inside.So......forgive the bleeding obvious question but......how can they be tubeless with tubes in them?
You're forgiven, remember, there's no such thing a stupid questions but you may from time to time get stupid answers.So......forgive the bleeding obvious question but......how can they be tubeless with tubes in them?
Aye Derek, I thought I did but lately I seem to get mixed up between what I've thought, what I've done and what was just a dream ??Yes, you did mention it Hui. It would be interesting to see how they do it.
Had a wee look, on my wheels the whole well was more or less flush with black sealant, I'll maybe enquire a Drysdales Perth if I can buy the sealant, there must be occasions when due to loose spokes etc. they will need redone over the life of the bike.A couple more DIY spoke sealing guides here
