Love that the Scrambler got a lot of stick when it first came out for being a poser bike... Some uprated suspension, 19" front wheel and it just made it around the world.
Sounds like with very little in the way of issues too. 2 clutches & a leaky fork seal doesn't seem bad for a heavily laden, hard 55,000 miles!

Good to hear he is a nice guy. A lot of people who do this sort of thing are pretty self centered to the point of being not nice at all.
