Just to put my mind at rest as if I hear another comment about the gap from friends I'm going to pull what's left of my hair out, There is a gap between the seat and the tank, it is supposed to be like that I take it ?

It does look like the gap is a wee bit bigger than mine.
Have you checked that the tang on the leading edge of the seat is pushed 'under' the tank hold down bracket ?
It looks like there's no room but the battery cover gives a bit.

I'll have a look mate, the one in the Ducati store looks the same as mine, I'll post you another pic.

It's fine Hui, checked it over and it's all as it should be, nothing obstructing or pushing it up. Thanks
