Just wanted to throw this up there. Who else in the SF Bay Area has/will be getting a Ducati Scrambler? My hopes are to eventually do a group ride if there are enough of us.

Just put a deposit down today on a red Icon, as well they have my 2009 Concours 14 on consignment prior to taking delivery. I really went back and forth on what model to decide on but the Icon in red just seemed the right one for me.

I'll get a good seniority bump in Nov, and have Thu/Fri/Sat off, just in time for the nice weather inland! Took a ride up Mt Hamilton and down the backside into Livermore. Fun ride. Boy the smog over San Jose from the Big Sur fire was thick and brown.

I just did that this past Sunday! Some little girl pulled the fire alarm at the observatory and it sounded off an air raid like siren...haha
