Are the side panel screws the standard lefty loosey righty tighty threads? While trying to unscrew the left side panel, I felt the hex walls on the screw head start to give out.... Before creating a nightmare for myself, I thought I would ask. The right side panel screw was not a problem.

Yes, lefty loosey.... I've had mine off a few times. (Not a guess)
I'm sure they have thread-lock on them.

yes, I felt the pop of the thread lock on the right side, But the left is a different story, thread glue I think.

Warm the screw up slightly , it softens the loctite ;) When you have a screw that's really tight like yours seems to be, I get my electric soldering iron out and warm the screw head that way for a few seconds or so , never failed yet :rolleyes:
