Yep, bought it not long after the opening post. I looked around for quite a while before settling on it. Suits me perfectly - good looking but simple exhaust. I don't like the multi-material or intricate pipes. So for me it was either the 60s Spark, Leo Vance or Sil Moto twin.
I initially installed it without a remap and it ran fine. The immediate freeing up of the exhaust flow makes all the difference with the aftermarket pipes that remove the cat. Not long later I installed an aftermarket air filter and a rexxer remap. Like others have said before me, this transformed the bike.
Back to the exhaust, with the baffle out it is loud and harsh. Cracks and pops too much for my liking. I've tried to ride a few times like this but it just wasn't what I wanted. And besides, with the baffle in it was spot on for me. Baffle in gives the bike a fantastic purr, just like the sound file above. Pops occasionally on decel at high revs but almost never around town. A touch louder would suit me but I'd prefer not to wear ear plugs when riding so I'll settle for it as is. I imagine not too dissimilar to most of the slip ons. So it comes down to looks.
The clean lines make cleaning a sinch. Bit of aluminium polish every now and then as, probably due to the remap, a bit of soot comes out the back. Cost me $800 aud delivered. I really liked the look of Sil Moto twin but I couldn't find a review at the time, or a sound file, and the price was significantly more so I went with this one. No regrets.
