Hi,
Taken the none matching yellow decal off my fairing and put a Matt black vinyl wrap on but not sure if it matches the rest of the bike, so what do you recon will look better?
Hydrographic carbon fibre (£35 plus postage), me spraying it satin black with the correct plastic type paint (already bought for £11.99 but not sure if I want to paint it) or leave as is? Mines the bottom one.
Thanks in advance for any advice or opinion.

Just plain black is fine, matt or semi gloss.

Just don't carbon wrap it. In my opinion decorative 'carbon fibre' is lame.
Yeah, I know what you mean, fake carbon is err fake!! plus satin black should go with the tank panels. Just black was the look I was originally after until somebody mentioned hydro graphics and my mind started working overtime.

you can alway paint the side panels the same color as the fairing ;) How about painting the ring around headlight as well, while you are at it ;)
Mine is now painted with cardipUK vinyl matte black and it holds ok (6 coats) - you can alwas peel it if you change your mind
fake carbon is silly

Am waiting the arrival of my new flyscreen with the exact same idea as you, to get rid of the non-matching yellow sticker, and leave it as black. Think the bottom pic looks really good. Did you end up leaving it that way? If you don't mind me asking, how'd you go about removing the sticker? And in that pic of your screen, have you applied the satin finish paint? If so, how's it holding up?

Thanks

Hi Greg,
To remove the original sticker warm it up first with a hair dryer and just peel it off. The one in the picture was a decal bought from Germany but was really hard to apply and didn't match the side panels so I got it colour matched and had it sprayed. I love the little sport fairings, they just look trick (but not in yellow).

Yup, a real headscratcher why Ducati made it in yellow only, and a yellow that matches NONE of the bikes it could be fitted to. How about just black? Or EU green? Personally, I might like to see what one in brushed aluminium would look like.
