Hi,

Anyone else experienced a sticking throttle? Noticed it yesterday. It's not bad, feels like you are on cruise control at low revs.

The throttle appears to be closing all the way, but still seems to remain very, very slightly open at times, enough to get the cruise control effect. If I then twist to close it again, it then closes, but there is hardly any additional movement when I do that (like a mm it seems).

Not sure if its the cable, throttle body or something else. The bike has 120 miles on it.

Is there an easy fix I can look at doing for this? or best to take it bake to the dealer?

Seeing the very low mileage, and knowing the bike is still under warranty - coupled with the fact that you had to ask this in the first place - I would say a trip to the dealer is in order.

Throttle issues are not something I would advise someone who does not have prior technical experience be addressing on their own.

I haven't read anything anywhere about a similar problem, but it shouldn't be doing that - definitely go back to the dealer, they are best placed to deal with it!

Also check the the bar end plug isn't touching the throttle tube.
Happened to me I had to lean the bike via the handle bar, and the end plug had just moved slightly to run against it. So didn't quite close!
But yes get it checked at dealer!!!.

My brand new FT is doing this. Definitely have to get the dealer to check it out. It's unsafe in my case... Doing it at fairly high RPMs.
