Has anyone fitted those Blaze panniers to their Scrambler? I mainly wonder about the mounting of those brackets.. They usually fix to the pillion footrests, but I can't make out from the pictures, whether there are actually places to screw them to on a Scrambler or the installation needs some other kind of work (like drilling or welding or worse)..

Also, does 21liters fit a helmet? :)

Those are M6-1.0 threads in the footpeg brackets. Get the high x wide x long specs of the bags, then measure your helmet. If those bags won't do the trick, you might look at the Hepco & Becker C-bow bags; their Royster Street bag is a tad bigger, I think.

Our local Hepco & Becker dealer seems to think only Harley riders need luggage on their bikes as all they have are leather bags.. :D

Though the Roysters do look interesting...
You would think they'd at least have a pair of each luggage option, no? :confused-48:

I wish... :( but no. Most of the dealers in my region might have a decent selection on the internets, but the store itself would have 2-3 ugly options. Perks of living a country, where even the capital has barely 300K people and the riding-season is 5 moths a year at best..
Am actually considering moving to Australia... :D

Follow your heart!

That is kinda frustrating, I know that most people would prefer to get their hands on the luggage options before making a decision.
