World record attempt in sydney for ducati nearly worked so in september we will try again with 500 of my mates.

Record for what? How do you like that competition works exhaust? Running with or without baffle?

World record for most ducatis riding together non stop for 5kms and i like the exhaust i used the baffle for a while but now no baffle and had no problems

I am lucky enough ( I add ) to be still a privileged World Record Holder of the attempt in Belgium with all the 407 Ducati Monsters. I wont ever forget that day taking part in a strange country with 12 of my UK friends going over with all the others coming from Europe. I am sorry your event got broken up because of all you guys effort but thankfully all our Monsters ( which they were ALL of type ) travelled a route close to our parade ground in a circle basically which was almost impossible to go wrong.
I can never experience the noise again I doubt but would in an instance do it once more if ever it got broken just for that thrill.

Do they allow the scrambler to participate?

Australia loves the ducati scrambler

Ours was purely one model. The actual count was higher in attendance but only 407 rode round
Other ducatis did turn up too but new they were not part of the ride.

Home made just cut seat down and got local upholstery bloke to make new cover and thin aluminium sheet for side panel with some vinyl wrap

The record event in Belgium was organised by the MOB (monster owners of Belgium) as part of their annual September weekend get together.
I've personally attended their weekend event but sadly not the record one, the club take over the centre square of a small town and hundreds of bikes attend not all monsters but only monsters are allowed on the square other models of Ducati and other makes of bikes have to park around the town square, the pics that Albie posted are a wonderful reminder of their event.

According to Albie, they did not allow scramblers to participate in Belgium.

They were not designed back in 2008 but obviously we are talking new style and not the classic ones.
Someone of knowledge has just picked me up on this and of course he is CORRECT lol
