I made my own tail tidy , using a old lower rear fender from a Aprilla 650 Pegaso , a rear number plate holder and modifying the number plate light ( cut off original) this saved around 300 odd for a Ducati one and 200 eBay aftermarket ) and it cost me nothing !

I ride a bit off road and you can get sticks and stuff caught between the wheel and number plate holder , also saves weight and I think looks better ( that's just a personal opinion)

Yeah, I really wish someone did an improved swing arm mount, that looked a bit sleeker than the big bulky standard one.

A tubular alloy one would look quite nice and after speaking with a Ducati mechanic about how much of a pain re-routing the cable for the light is, it put my off moving the plate up top.

It's actually not that difficult ( only 1 screw is ( small one in centre of swing arm ) it's just a bit time consuming, actually the rear peg mounts look a bit crapy looking as well , but the 400 scrambler ones I think look better ( not sure if would fit the 800 ? )
