It's a nice picture that, I'm thinking of getting the spring powder coated to match, It really sets it off

I am going to look out for a secondhand spring hopefully an Ohlins of similar length maybe from a monster. Do you think one slightly longer say 10mm would still fit ok and give a slight increase in ride height.

I think the springs ok Albie, Its the damping that needs altering,

But you could always get a spacer made up if you want the bike to be higher 10 mm wouldn't be a problem .

Yes Hui, I meant on the overall length of the damper/spring, I've been giving it some thought over lunch and it's not so simple on the scrambler to modify, due to the fixing points,
This would be an ideal situation, this is the one on my Ecosse, see pic

This is an Ohlins one , you can adjust the length of the strut, to suit the geometry you need, This one can be adjusted 25mm in length, it's on the shortest setting at the moment.

Perhaps the gent on this site who's making rear dampers could do something for you Albie,
